BBC secure broadcasting rights for Home Nations World Cup qualifiers
The BBC has secured the broadcasting rights for all of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland's World Cup qualifiers.
It was confirmed that an by the broadcaster that a deal has been agreed with Uefa that includes 41 live matches.
Rhodri Talfan Davies, director of BBC Nations, said: "I'm absolutely delighted that fans across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will now be able to enjoy live, free-to-air coverage of all the big international football matches.
"Nothing fires the imagination more than live international sport and the race to qualify for the world's biggest tournament. It's going to be quite a ride and I'm thrilled the BBC will be there every step of the way."
The deal also includes international friendlies and will begin in the next international window later this month.
Scotland's first game will be away to Greece in a Nations League qualifier on the 20th March. Northern Ireland then host Switzerland in a World Cup Qualifier on Friday the 21st, with Wales also at home to Kazakhstan in a friendly on Saturday 22nd.
