Doncaster Rovers announce £3mil loss
Doncaster Rovers have revealed they recorded operating losses of £3.06m for the year ending 30 June 2024.
The League Two club, who had lost £1.8m in the previous year, improved their position from 18th in 2022-23 to fifth.
However, they were knocked out in the play-off semi-finals by Crewe in May 2024 to miss out on a return to League One.
In a statement on the club website they said that £556,000 of the additional losses were down to player salaries and that "the overall health of the club's finances improved".
