Dulwich Hamlet receive stadium planning approval
Dulwich Hamlet have been successful in their joint-planning application for their new stadium.
The club have confirmed that Southwark Council Planning Committee have approved their application with Meadow Residential which will ‘secure the club’s home and future in East Dulwich for the next 125 years.’ according to the club.
The plan for a new 4,000-capacity stadium will also see 219 residential dwellings built on the site of the current ground at Champion Hill, which is adjacent.
As previously explained by director Tom Cullen: “The ground, which will be sat across two different land owners (Meadow and Southwark) will be leased to the club on an unconditional 125-year lease mirrored by both parties.”
