Hollywood Director Joe Russo part of several additions to Sheffield United board

Promotion chasing Sheffield United have confirmed three new Members to their board as new owners COH Sports reshapes the club's backroom structure.

The most high profile of the additions is film director Joe Russo, who along with his brother Anthony, has directed several of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's biggest films.

Last year they both agreed to return to Marvel to direct the next two Avengers films.

COH Sports, the US based consortium that recently took control of the Blades, also appointed Len Komoroski, a businessman who has previously worked in the NBA and fellow businessman Terry Ahern.

Speaking of the appointment on the club's official website, Co-Chairmen Steven Rosen and Helmy Eltoukhy said:

"We are delighted to welcome Joe, Len and Terry to the board of directors of Sheffield United Football Club.

"We want to see the Blades competing in the top-flight of English football consistently, not just on a one-off basis. An important element of this is ensuring Sheffield United Football Club has the highest quality team not just on the pitch but in the boardroom as well.

"Each of Joe, Len and Terry bring outstanding capabilities and decades of experience to the table as we plan for the long term, develop the brand and ensure we have the best infrastructure in place. As prospective board members and investors we know all Blades fans will give them a warm welcome at Bramall Lane."
