Leading European sports brand Hummel delighted with new partnership with the Midland Football League
Hummel are one of the most recognised Sports brands in Europe and their mission is to ‘CHANGE THE WORLD THROUGH SPORT, and they are fully supportive of grass roots football. On that basis they are delighted to have the opportunity to partner with the Midland Football League. (MFL)
The MFL has over 120 clubs involved in its various leagues including over 40 clubs playing in steps 5 and 6 of the English Pyramid System.
The new partnership will see clubs in the Leagues 2 and 3 divisions wearing Hummel branded bench wear at matches and the MFL will promote Hummel as it’s brand of choice across all clubs.
Speaking about the deal, Mike Joiner, Chairman of the MFL said:
‘We are delighted to have such a prestigious brand associated with the league. The new partnership is one of several the league (MFL) has announced in recent weeks – all aimed at helping our member clubs.
‘I’m sure Hummel will provide a great service to clubs in our league going forward.’
James Golden, Hummel’s Head of Teamsport, UK & Ireland added:
‘Non-league football is the heartbeat of the game and it seemed an obvious fit for our brand to be involved in this level of the football.
‘We look forward to working with the league (MFL) over the coming seasons and engaging with clubs across the Midlands.
To mark the start of the partnership a presentation was held before the MFL game between Kenilworth and Knowle on Saturday 24th September. Both teams will be sporting the new bench wear and Board members will be on hand to celebrate the partnership.
