League Two: Rochdale part ways with Robbie Stockdale
League Two side Rochdale have sacked manager Robbie Stockdale after losing all four of their opening league matches.
The club confirmed that they had parted ways with Stockdale and assistant Jimmy Shan in a brief statement.
Rochdale appointed the former Middlesbrough and Grimsby player last season in what was his first full time managerial role, leading them to an 18th place finish.
This season however they've lost all four of their league games, their last defeat coming on Tuesday to Stevenage, losing all games by a single goal, though they did win their EFL Cup First Round tie against Burton.
