Leeds United announce new vehicle partnership
Leeds United have announced a new sponsorship agreement with vehicle solutions company AMT.
The deal means AMT will become the club’s official vehicle partner.
Paul Bell, executive director at Leeds, said: “We are proud to partner and build success with Leeds-based brands; the visibility provided through our participation in the Premier League and the connected nature of our global fan base (provide) a fantastic marketing platform to expand their business across the UK and internationally.”
Meanwhile, Leeds is set to move forward with proposals to expand the capacity of Elland Road after opting to drop plans for a new training ground and community sports hub next to the stadium.
Leeds City Council said a proposal to relocate the sports hub to the former home of Matthew Murray High School will be discussed by senior councillors on its executive board on June 23.
The council said the potential change in location comes after Leeds earlier this year expressed a desire to increase the capacity of Elland Road. If the relocation is approved, the council has pledged to work with Leeds on a revised masterplan for the stadium which could see its capacity increase to 55,000.
