Supporting Non-League Football - FTD to sponsor local match

The Foot­ball­Tra­deDi­rec­tory.­com (FTD) has been a resource to help grass roots clubs find suppliers since 2007.

The website has over 2,500 supplier listing in over 200 categories.

Teamwear heads the list of downloads, with over 300,000 people using the site in 2022.

With that in mind John Booth, owner of the FTD, was happy to step in when asked by local cub, Euxton Villa, to sponsor a game.

‘I used to manage a team at Euxton Villa, 25 years ago, but the club has grown out of all recognition since, and the first team now play in the North West Counties First Division North and are looking good for a play-off spot at least.’

‘We are delighted to sponsor the re-arranged game against Bacup Borough on March 11th and hopefully we will boost the crowd with our guests.’

‘Leyland Motors used to fly the flag for the Town in the FA Pyramid system, but they have long been defunct, and as our offices are based in Leyland we are delighted to see a local team climbing the pyramid once more.’

Euxton is a growing village on the outskirts of Chorley, but the Stadium, on Runshaw Hall Lane is nearer to Leyland.
