Welsh side Bangor City dissolved after compulsory strike off

Welsh side Bangor City have been dissolved after a compulsory strike off, over two years after the notice was first issued.

The former Cymru Premier side withdrew from the second tier of Welsh football in 2022 due to unpaid debts and a lack of available players.

The club was given a week to pay around £50,000 of debts or face expulsion from the League, and hasn't played a game since.

Bangor City was one of the oldest clubs in Wales having been founded in 1876 and having spent the vast majority of it's time playing at the highest available level, including in the Cmyru Premier when it was first introduced in the early 90s.
